HDSRL 2008 race #4 - Garforth
- Tuesday 17th June, race starts 7.45pm
- Course: approx 5.9 miles, disused railway line, out and back course
- Venue: Garforth Leisure Centre for changing, and post-race showers and food. Parking at the Leisure Centre and there is a small car park nearby, please carshare where possible.
- Travel: Garforth Squash & Leisure Centre, Ninelands Lane, Garforth, Leeds, LS25 1NX
From M1 junction 47, follow the signs for Garforth A642 (Aberford road), at mini round-a-bout take the 2nd exit (straight across), turn left onto Bar lane (opposite a car sales garage on the right), keep straight on, over the railway bridge and the road becomes Ninelands Lane, the leisure centre is on the left.
- Parking: Please park at the leisure centre or further down on the right there is a smaller car park next to the playing fields. The race starts on the playing fields, doing a lap of it and will then head off down Ninelands Lane away from the leisure centre, joining the disused railway line on the right. Please do not park on the right hand side of the road between the playing fields and the disused railway line start.
- The route is out and back , the turn around point is shortly after you see an old wagon wheel and the course finshes on a grass area which you will pass on your right on the way out.
- Changing facilities and food are provided at the leisure centre.
