HDSRL 2004 race #3 - Otley

Venue: Otley Rugby Union Football Club
- Changing, showers, toilets, refreshments at Otley RUFC
(other arrangemenst may be made if there is development work at the club-house)
- Very limited car parking at Rugby Club - park in Otley town centre car parks or as directed by marshals
- Course:
- Approx 10km
- Single lap
- Starts on Pool Road outside Otley RUFC, Cross Green, Otley
Do not go onto the busy road outside the Rugby Club until called by the starter
- Road (some roadside footpath)
As the first 2.5 miles are almost entirely on main roads (A659, A658) the police have
asked that we remind all runners that they must remain on the left hand side of the road whenever possible.
The remainder of the road is on minor roads but the sharp bend after about 3.5 miles can be quite dangerous -
please take care.
- Mostly level, long climb up from Leathley to Farnley then long descent to finish
- Finishes at Riverside Park, Farnley Lane, 10 minutes walk back to Otley RUFC
