HDSRL 2004 race #5 - Swaledale

• Thursday 8th July, Start 7.45pm
• Organised by Swaledale RR
• Venue: Swaledale Road Runners Club House, New Road, Richmond and The Buck Inn, Newbiggin
  
• There are plenty of parking facilities in and around the town centre. Please DO NOT park vehicles at the club house.
• There are limited changing facilities at the club house.
• The start of the race is from the car park at the waterfalls, 5 minutes walk from the club house/town centre.
• The route, in the main, follows that of the Richmond Castle 10k without the ‘wonderful’ hill at the end.
  
• Runners must keep to the left at all times except when directed to the right for one short climb.
• The finish will be on the grass area by the river (The Batts). A short footpath will take you back to the start.
• Refreshments will be available after the race at The Buck Inn, Newbiggin
  Please note the change of venue for refreshments. 2 minutes from the club house up a hill (Bar Gate).
• The race distance is approximately 8k
