HDSRL 2003 race #5 - Thirsk
- Wednesday 9th July, Start 7.45pm
- Venue: Thirsk Athletic Club for parking, changing, and post-race social
- The 2-lap course (same as in 2002) is approx. 5 miles and is mainly road running
- Starts in Thirsk Market
- Finishes in playing fields near swimming pool

"Wednesday coincides with the Great Yorkshire Show so for people travelling from the south (i.e. Ilkley, Otley, Dragons and possibly Harrogate), traffic on Harrogate's south by-pass may be a bit of a nightmare since the police tend to make it a one way system to allow the volumes out of the showground. Traffic will also be quite heavy I imagine on the north bound A61 through Ripon as well."
So allow plenty of travel time.
