HDSRL 2007 race #4 - Harland Way

- Route - out and back route from Wetherby to Spofforth along the Harland Way.

runners should meet at Wetherby Sports Association - link.
Wetherby Sports Association is just South of the bridge over the Wharfe taking a turning immedietly after the bridge sign posted Wetherby Swimming Pool. The club is just beyond the Pool,
a new building facing the playing fields.
We will walk the runners over to the start line before the race start (as there is a road with a blind corner to cross).
Limited parking is available at the Sports Association.
If this is full there is plenty of parking at the Wilderness carpark, a few minutes walk from the Sports Association, just by the river behind the George and Dragon pub
Alternative parking should the (riverside) Wilderness car park be flooded is 'Morrisons' car park which is free for 2 hours and doesn't have a barrier for those departing late.
- Start/finish - Car park at old Wetherby train station. Runners will be
walked up to the start position (from Wetherby Sports association) prior to the race start.
- Runners are requested to avoid the road leading to the Sports Association (and the carpark)
for warm ups. Wetherby Ings and playing fields should be used instead.
- Toilets, changing facilities and showers will be available at Wetherby Sports Association.
- Post run food will be available at the Sports association. A licensed bar is also available.
- Parking space at the sports association is limited. The Wilderness car park should be
used as an alternative.
