HDSRL 2011 race #5 - Sicklinghall

- Date: Wednesday 29th June, Start 7.45pm
- Organised by Wetherby Runners
- Course: This is a new route, a single undulating lap, starting outside Sicklinghall village on Paddock House Lane
and finishing at Sicklinghall Village Hall. The race is entirely on road. It is mainly well surfaced but please take
care on uneven surfaces. Please follow marshals' instructions at road crossings. The distance is approx. 4.7M
See annotated Route Map below or in more detail PDF, or Powerpoint - Travel and Parking: Runners should park at designated parking areas at the top end of the village (towards Kirkby Overblow). Privately owned farmland is being provided for all runners. Signage and Marshals will direct you. Please do not park on the roads in Sicklinghall as this will obstruct both residents and through traffic and endanger runners as they enter the village.
- Start/finish: Start is on Paddock House Lane. You will be directed from the Race HQ area at 7.30pm.
IMPORTANT Please allow plenty of time to reach the Start. It is one mile from the village Hall, 0.5 miles from race HQ and 0.5-0.7 miles from the car park (depending which field is allocated for parking on the day). Finish is at Sicklinghall Village Hall. - Registration/Race HQ will be at Sicklinghall Cricket Club. No parking is available there.
- Toilets will be available at Sicklinghall Cricket Club and Sicklinghall Village Hall. Sorry there are no shower/changing facilities.
- Post run food will be available at the Village Hall immediately after the race. A limited licensed bar is available. You might want to run with a couple of pounds on you, so you can use the bar without having to return to your car first.
