RESULTS, HDSRL 2003
Race #3, Richmond, 22 May organised by Richmond & Zetland Harriers
Sadly, the race had to be cancelled, shortly before its scheduled start time.
Before the race there was a serious accident on the A66, and that road was closed and its traffic routed through Gilling West. The local police were very supportive and made every effort to help us run the race, but in the end it became clear that the road was too busy and dangerous.
Thanks to everyone for taking this in good spirit. It was an interesting sight seeing everyone in club race kit going for a "mass jog" in the quieter country lanes. And everyone still enjoyed RZH's hospitality after the race, too.
The 2003 League results will be based on four races. You will still need two 2003 League race results to be eligible for a prize in the handicap.
